Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a developmental disorder characterized by communication disorders, social interaction disorders. Social skills and language skills of autistic children are very important to be developed, namely to support academic skills and social interaction with peers. This study aims to determine the methods that can be used to improve the social skills and language skills of children with autism. The method used is a literature review study by searching using 3 databases through Google Schoolar, Proquest and National Library. The results of this study show that from 10 journals it can be concluded that they have a significant relationship to improve social skills and language skills of children with autism. the most effective play therapy method used in autistic children with an experimental design of 30%, a sample of 30 students using purposive sampling technique, using the applied behavior analysis method using flashcard media by 90% and the applied behavior analysis method based on iPad by 10% with planning, intervention, pre-test, post-test and observation techniques, analysis using statistical tests with t-test and regression tests of 30% this method provides an increase in the social and language skills of autistic children, this play therapy method should be given to children immediately autism because it has a prolonged impact if not given therapy. Social skills and language skills in autistic children must be immediately given play therapy so that it does not cause a prolonged impact. So it can be concluded that the applied behavior analysis method using flashcards and the iPad-based applied behavior method can be used to improve the social and language skills of autistic children.
