Spiritual intelligence is an intelligence that must be possessed by a nurse, because spiritual intelligence is very important in growing nurses' caring behavior in providing quality nursing care. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between spiritual intelligence and caring behavior of nurses in the Surgical Inpatient Room (Kerinci and Rinjani) RSUD dr. Saiful Anwar Malang. This study is a quantitative study with a cross sectional design with a correlative analytic method with a sample of 30 nurses serving in the Rinjani and Kerinci rooms using a total sampling technique, the instrument used in this study was a questionnaire on each variable. The results of the study using the Spearman Rank correlation test showed that there was a close relationship between spiritual intelligence and caring behavior of nurses by 55% (r= 0.55) which was positive with moderate strength with a p value of 0.001 <(= 0.05) which means H0 was rejected. Conclusions from this study is that there is a positive and significant relationship between spiritual intelligence and caring behavior of nurses in the Surgical Inpatient Room (Kerinci and Rinjani) RSUD dr. Saiful Anwar Malang. Therefore nurses need to increase their spiritual intelligence so that they can improve the caring behavior of nurses.
