Rotation of nurses in the operating room aims to minimize exposure to contact with COVID-19 patients. The effect of rotation on the performance of nurses is still not clearly described. This study aims to determine the relationship between employee rotation and the performance of nurses during the Covid 19 pandemic in the Operating Room of RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang. Analytical descriptive cross sectional involving 45 respondents selected by simple random sampling technique. Data were collected by means of employee rotation and nurse performance questionnaires. Analysis of the data using the Pearson Product Moment test with = 0.05. The results showed that 29 respondents or 64.4% had a perception of mployee rotation in the sufficient category. As many as 28 respondents or 62.2% have a nurse's performance in the good category. Spearman Rho statistical test results obtained p value = 0.296 or p > 0.05, which means H1 is rejected, so it can be interpreted that there is no significant relationship between employee rotation and nurse performance in the Operating Room of Dr. Saiful Anwar Hospital Malang. The results of the study concluded that there was no significant relationship between employee rotation and the performance of nurses in the Operating Room of Dr Saiful Anwar Hospital Malang. It is recommended for nurses to comply with the employee rotation policy because it has benefits in minimizing contact with COVID-19 patients, minimizing work stress, and increasing new competencies.
