Abstract:
Neonates or so-called newborns are individuals who are growing and have just experienced birth trauma and must be able to make adjustments from intrauterine life to extra -uterine life. At the time of birth, the body of a newborn baby undergoes a number of psychological adaptations, the baby needs close monitoring to determine the transition period of his life to life outside the uterus going well. Life in the neonatal period is very vulnerable, it requires physiological adjustments so that the baby outside the womb can live as well as possible. Newborns are very vulnerable if not done early care will increase the risk of infant morbidity and death. The goal of LTA is to provide comprehensive midwifery care to neonates according to the standard using the midwifery care management approach. The care method in this LTA is a comprehensive midwifery care using an interview approach, document review, observation / management and management. After completing midwifery care in neonates according to standards using the SOAP midwifery care management approach by 'M' 'the care provided to neonates is appropriate and running well so that there are no problems and gaps between theory and practice in the field.
