Syphilis is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Treponema pallidum subspecies pallidum. Groups at risk of transmitting sexually transmitted infections, especially syphilis, occur in female sex workers and gays, this is because the patterns of their lives that are changing partners can spread syphilis. This study aims to determine the existence of allegations of syphilis in the members of the Malang Gay Association (IGAMA) Malang City by examining Rapid Plasma Reagin (RPR). This research is a descriptive research with purposive sampling technique. The population of this research is all members of the IGAMA foundation. The sample used was in the form of venous blood from 30 respondents who were in accordance with the inclusion criteria. The method used in this examination is the flocculation method. The results showed that all respondents who numbered 30 people found non-reactive results or there was no increase in antibody titers in the respondent serum. The conclusion of this study is the results of the RPR examination on respondents of the Malang IGAMA foundation members that there was no Treponema pallidum subspecies pallidum antibody against the respondent serum. It is recommended for future researchers to choose a more specific examination and selection of sampling techniques, because in this study has limited time and the inability of researchers to include all respondents for RPR examination.
