Liquid waste is all waste water, both dissolved and suspended, which is wasted from domestic and industrial sources which may contain organisms, toxic chemicals and radioactive substances that are harmful to health. This study aims to determine the presence or absence of gram-positive bacteria in the Clinical Laboratory wastewater discharge at the Maharani Health College. This research is a type of descriptive research with purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study is liquid waste that is in the discharge of Clinical Laboratory at Maharani Health College. The results showed that the samples of liquid waste in the Maharani Health College Clinical Laboratory were positive for the presence of gram-positive bacteria in various forms, namely, Diplococcus, Coccus, Streptobasil and Staphylococcus. The conclusion of this study is the result of the identification of Positive Gram Bacteria in liquid waste samples using the gram coloring test obtained positive results. Henceforth, it should be necessary to disseminate information to students about the dangers of liquid waste that is not managed properly.
