Soil Transmitted Helminth (STH) is a group of parasites that cause disease by intestinal nematode worms which are transmitted to humans through the soil. This spread can be through eggs attached to vegetables or nails and hands containing worm eggs, then enter the mouth along with food. The purpose of this study was to find out whether or not there was contamination of intestinal nematode worm eggs on the garbage scavenger nails in the Supiturang Final Disposal Site (TPA) in Malang City. The type of research is descriptive with a population of all 130 garbage collectors in the Final Disposal Site (TPA) Supiturang with a sample size of 20 respondents who fit the inclusion criteria using the quota sampling technique. Data collection was done by identifying worm eggs on garbage scavenger nails, then examined at the Maharani STIKes Basic Chemistry Laboratory. The results of the sedimentation examination showed that all respondents with a total of 20 people found 2 people with positive results infected with worm eggs. The conclusion of this study was that 2 positive samples infected with worm eggs and 18 negative samples were not found for intestinal nematode worm eggs in respondent's nail samples. Suggestions for respondents are to improve personal hygiene such as washing hands with soap after work and diligently cutting nails to avoid contamination of intestinal nematode worm eggs.
