Smoking is a bad habit that is found in society and is one of the causes of disease. Cigarettes have a content that is harmful to health, nicotine is one of the ingredients of cigarettes. The content of cigarettes will then accumulate and undergo a metabolic process that mostly occurs in the liver and in the kidneys. Nicotine in the kidney will cause an increase in kidney work beyond normal capacity so that in the event of accumulation of nicotine for a long time it can cause kidney problems. As for one of the laboratory tests that can find out how much interference occurs in the kidneys, by examining creatinine levels. This study aims to determine the description of creatinine levels in active smokers in Supiturang Hamlet RT 01 RW 12, Bocek Village, Karangploso District, Malang Regency. This type of research is descriptive with purposive sampling method, the number of samples is 13 respondents. The results showed that abnormal creatinine levels were 1 respondent (8%), namely 1.31 mg / dL from all respondents. However, toxic substances in cigarettes and cigarette smoke will accumulate in the body so that it is feared will result in decreased kidney function. Smokers are expected to stop smoking by reducing the number of cigarettes / day, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
