GAMBARAN METAMPHETAMIN PADA URINE PENGGUNA NARKOBA DENGAN METODE RAPID TEST DAN KROMATOGRAFI LAPIS TIPIS

Background: Methamphetamine is a white crystalline substance of methylamphetamine similar to sodium glutamate and odorless. Metamphetamine is a type of psychotropic that has a strong effect on the central nervous system. Drug users in the world reach 12%, in Indonesia it continues to increase every year, namely in 2015 there were 1.99%, 2016 2.32% and in 2017 it increased to 2.80% and drug users in East Java were 1.72% . The purpose of this study was to determine the description of methamphetamine in urine using the rapid test method and thin layer chromatography. Methodology: The method used in this research is literature study using Google Scolar database, Springer, Science Direct. Sampling using quota sampling and obtained 8 journals and 3 books that match the inclusion criteria. The research journals are then collected and a summary is made including the name of the researcher, the year published, the title of the research, the methods and the results. Results: based on data from several journals, it was found that most of them were positive for methamphetamine in the urine using the rapid test method and thin layer chromatography. Conclusion: that the rapid test method is only an initial screening that does not examine the level of a substance and does not show the level of substance intoxication in the urine. Meanwhile, the thin layer chromatography method can measure the levels of a substance in the urine.
