Triglycerides are the main lipids in fat deposits and in food. The main constituent of vegetable oils and animal fats triglycerides are formed from 3 fatty acids and glycerol. The main function of triglycerides is as an energy substance, the enzyme lipase in fat cells will break down triglycerides into glycerol and fatty acids and release them into the blood vessels.The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence triglyceride levels. The research design used in this research is library research or literature study. The population in this study were 8 journals that were reviewed, with a sample size of 6 journals. Journal data collection usessecondary data collection from library materials, textbooks, journals, previous research, scientific articles, books. From the results of journal review research, it was found that the factors that influence triglyceride levels are age, gender, carbohydrate and fat intake as well as drugs, one of which is herbal medicine (clove powder). Based on this literature study research, awareness is neededmaintain a diet and adopt a healthy lifestyle, exercise frequently and pay attention to health by checking the lipid profile.
