GAMBARAN PEMERIKSAAN C-REACTIVE PROTEIN (CRP) PADA PENDERITA HEPATITIS B

Background: Hepatitis B is a liver disease caused by the Hepatitis B virus, which can cause acute or chronic liver inflammation which can lead to cirrhosis of the liver or liver cancer. C Reactive Protein is an acute phase protein formed in the liver (by hepatocyte cells) due to an inflammatory or infectious process. This study aims to determine the results of the C Reactive Protein examination in Hepatitis B sufferers through a literature study. The examination results were obtained from the findings of several journals. The method used in this study is a literature study with a literature review using google scholar and NCB using key sentences to describe the levels of CRP (C-Reactive protein) in Hepatitis B patients. Sampling population of 1. 126 journals were found through the NCBI database and google scholar using key sentences for the CRP examination for Hepatitis B sufferers. The sample used was serum for Hepatitis B sufferers summarized from 3 journals. The sampling technique uses quota sampling. The examination results obtained from 1 journals used were hepatitis B reactive CRP. The hepatitis B virus is easily spread through contact with the blood or other body fluids of an infected person. The results of the examination were obtained from the findings of several journals, 3 international journals and 1 national journal. Conclusion Based on the results of the journal review, Hepatitis B is an inflammatory process of liver cells caused by the hepatitis B virus which can cause liver damage. C-Reactive Protein is an acute phase protein that is formed in the liver (by hepatocytes) due to an inflammatory or infectious process. This research needs to be refined to increase knowledge about C-Reacktive protein (CRP) testing in hepatitis B sufferers.
