Nematodes are long, cylindrical, non-segmented worms with bilateral symmetrical bodies, ranging from 2 mm to 1 cm in length. Intestinal nematodes are the cause of intestinal worms which is still quite high in Indonesia but has received less attention. Transmission can enter the human body in various ways; some are actively entering, some are ingested or inserted by vectors. The purpose of this study was to determine the identification of intestinal nematodes in faeces using the flotation method and to determine the percentage of the results. This study uses a literature study method, by collecting secondary data taken not from direct research but from full text journals for the last 5 years and books for the last 10 years. The journals used are journals that match the exclusion and inclusion criteria. The conclusion is that intestinal nematode infections in the Soil Transmitted Helminths class, namely Ascaris lumbricoides, Enterobius vermicularis, Necator americanus, Ancylostoma duodenale, and Trichuris trichiura are still quite high in plantation workers and farmers as well as elementary school aged children. This is caused by various factors such as clean living habits, personal hygiene, environmental sanitation, lack of knowledge about the risk of worms, and the use of PPE on workers.
