Abstract
Background: The COVID-19 virus has had a major impact on the world of education.
Where learning which is usually done face-to-face has turned into distance learning and
learning from home (Study From Home/SFH). The presence of online learning methods
basically aims as an alternative solution in carrying out learning. Purpose: The research
aims to determine the relationship between online learning methods and the level of
understanding of special program students in research methodology courses. Method:
The design used in this study is quantitative analytic using a cross sectional approach.
The population of all students of class 2020 is 66 people. The research sample was 57
students who were determined by purposive sampling using the Slovin formula. Results:
showed that most of the students, namely 35 students (61.4%) were able to understand
and answer the research methodology course material which was carried out using online
methods. Conclusion: There is no relationship between online method learning and
students' level of understanding in research methodology courses.
