HUBUNGAN ANTARA PERILAKU ORANGTUA DENGAN KEMAMPUAN TOILET TRAINING PADA ANAK USIA TODDLER DI TK-PAUD RAUDHATUL AZIZAH KOTA BANGKALAN

Toilet training is held to teach children aged 18 months to 3 years how to urinate independently. This research was conducted to determine the relationship between toddler toilet training abilities and parents' attitudes in Raudhatul Azizah Kindergarten, Bangkalan City. The research design used a cross-sectional design. The research samples are all parents of toddlers who attend Kindergarten-PAUD Raudhatul Azizah in the city of Bangkalan. With the example of 43 people, the sampling method is purposive sampling. Behavior toward parents is an independent variable, and the ability of
toddlers to do so is the dependent variable. The "spearman" statistical test was used to collect data by giving respondents information from the field. The quiz results show the r (correlation coefficient) value of 0.520. That is, there is a correlation in the moderate category between parents' behavior in
implementing toilet training skills. In addition, the data analysis found a p-value (significance) of 0.0001, which is smaller than 0.05, so it can be stated that there is an established relationship between parental behavior and toilet training abilities in toddlers at Raudhatul Azizah Kindergarten-PAUD.
Children must be taught and reminded about toilet training from an early age, which not only gives instructions but also directs children to practice it so that future researchers can investigate aspects of the role of health workers in toilet training screening.
