Hubungan Lamanya Penggunaan AKDR Dengan Keputihan Patologis Pada Wanita Usia Subur Di Kota Malang

Pathological vaginal discharge often occurs in women of childbearing age who use Intrauterine Contraceptive Devices (IUDs). Pathological vaginal discharge greatly affects women's reproductive organs. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the duration of use (IUDs) and the incidence of pathological vaginal discharge in women of childbearing age at the Pandanwangi Health Center, Malang City. The design of this study was quantitative using a cross-sectional design with 30 IUD KB acceptors as respondents, with the Spearman statistical test. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between the duration of use of IUDs and pathological vaginal discharge (p value: 0.000 <α: 0.05), meaning that there was a relationship between the duration of use of IUDs and vaginal discharge in women of childbearing age. Where the duration of use greatly influences the occurrence of pathological vaginal discharge because of the body's response to foreign objects entering the uterus. Researchers suggest that acceptors be more aware and understand the things that happen to them related to the relationship between the duration of use of IUDs and pathological vaginal discharge.
