Pengaruh Pemberian Teh Peppermint Terhadap Disminorhea Pada Mahasiswi Prodi D3 Kebidanan Stikes Maharani

Complaints that often occur during menstruation or menstruation are dysmenorrhea or menstrual pain which really interferes with daily activities including disrupting learning activities which usually involve consuming chemical drugs which have a negative impact on the body's organs (liver, kidneys, heart, liver, etc. ). The aim of this research was to determine the effect of giving peppermint tea on dysmenorrhoea in students of the D3 Midwifery study program at STIKes Maharani Malang. This research used a "One Group Pretest-Posttest" design. This design was used for research using an experimental method that did not have a comparison group, then observations were made of changes in menstrual pain that occurred after the experiment of giving Peppermint Tea. Samples were taken of 30 respondents. Data collection was carried out by observing dysmenorrhea pain before and after dysmenorrhea. Then the data was analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, to determine the effectiveness of Peppermint Tea against menstrual pain. In the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test statistical test with n = 30, T+ = 0 and T- = 464 were obtained. So it can be concluded that in this study, with a significance level of α = 0.05, the smallest T < T Table is obtained, so Ho is rejected, meaning that there is an effect of giving peppermint tea on dysmenorrhea in D3 Midwifery Study Program students at STIKes Maharani Malang. Based on the results of the research above, it should be used as input for educational institutions to be able to provide ongoing information about the dangers of using chemical medicines that can harm the body's health, switching to herbal medicines that do not harm health
