Hypertension is a chronic disease that can affect the quality of life of the sufferer and can be improved by improving self-efficacy. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and quality of life of hypertensive patients in the work area of the Pakis Health Center, Pakis District, Malang. This research uses descriptive analytic method with cross sectional approach. The research population was 55 people. Sampling using purposive sampling with a sample of 50 people. This study proves that most of the respondents, 43 (86%) have good self-efficacy and more than half of the respondents 45 (90%) have a good quality of life. The results of the spearman rank test with a spearman correlation value of 0.890 and a (p) value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that the strength of the correlation is very strong with a positive correlation direction. Based on the results of this study, the better the self-efficacy of hypertensive patients, the better their quality of life. Because with good self-efficacy, it will be able to improve the health and well-being of hypertensive patients.
