Soil Transmitted Helminths (STH) is an intestinal nematode that requires soil media with optimum temperature and humidity in its life. Organic fertilizer factory workers become a health problem for rural, suburban or urban communities with high population density, in tropical and subtropical countries. The aim of the study was to determine the description of STH worm egg exposure on the nails of organic fertilizer factory workers in Arjowinangun Village, Malang City using sedimentation method. The population is organic fertilizer workers in Arjowinangun Village, Malang City, with 25 people, 10 hand nail samples and 10 toenail samples. The results of the study found worm eggs in 7 respondents (70%). In hand nail samples, there were 70% Ascaris lumbricoides worm eggs (7 samples), 10% Trichuris trichiura (1 sample), foot nail samples found in Ascaris lumbricoides eggs 40% (4 samples), and 10% Hookworm (1 sample). Positive respondents had worm eggs on their fingernails and toenails, namely 3 respondents (30%). In conclusion, STH worm eggs were found in samples of hand nails and toenails of organic fertilizer workers, namely worm eggs Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichuris trichiura, and Hookworm. The suggestion for the next researcher is to identify cestoda and trematode worm eggs in organic fertilizer workers using sedimentation methods, it is necessary to conduct helminth health checks on organic fertilizer workers.
