Triglycerides are a type of fat found in blood and various organs and are the most efficient form of fat in storing heat which is important for processes which require energy in the body. This study aims to determine the depiction of triglyceride levels in electric smokers. The study is a descriptive research with literature study method which involves eight journal articles. The quota sampling method was employed during the sampling process. The examination was carried out based on each article including computerized tomography (CT), nephelometry, photometers (5010 V5 + Robert Riele), fluorometric kit (BioVision, Milpitas, CA, USA) and Chemical analysis of Hitachi 700-110. The results showed that electric smokers had higher triglycerides level than non-smokers, but there was also an insignificant increase compared to conventional smokers. The suggestion from this research is that it is necessary to conduct direct research in order to obtain the more accurate results.
